He is a Post Graduate in M.Sc (Agriculture) and MBA from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmadabad. He is also the visiting faculty in IIM Ahmadabad. He was an officer with Tamil Nadu Government and a Senior Executive in Syndicate Bank for more than 10 Years. He was the Managing Director of an agricultural product export company with turn over of more than Rs.50Crore. At present he is the CEO of Sree Hari Exports based in Bangalore and Vice President of Samara Consultants and Developers in Kerala, an accredited consultant of Ministry of Roads, Transport and Highways.
